Emily Rome is excited to join the Street’s Hope team as the Development Associate. With over 12 years’ experience in the nonprofit sector, Emily has a passion for social justice and empowering disadvantaged populations transform their lives. Her experience includes working with survivors of domestic violence in a safe house, and it was here Emily started coming in contact with women who had been trafficked. She decided this was the underserved population she wanted to work with and had the passion to serve. Emily completed her Bachelor’s in Political Science from Colorado State University and her Master’s in Nonprofit Management from Regis University. Shortly after finishing her Master’s Emily joined the Street’s Hope team as a development intern, and couldn’t be happier about being back in a staff role.
